Here are our Largest size Blooms: AA size (10+” Dia). Because of their huge diameters, these are sometimes called ‘Dinner plate Dahlias’. Growing dahlias this size is the envy of most gardeners. Not only are they the largest of the dahlias they are have so many more petals compared to many other large, garden blooms (sunflower, trumpet flower, hydrangea balls, rhododendron clusters or very large clematis). With such a large variety of colors and forms, it’s hard not to want to try and grow something this spectacular. (Warning: some of the AA size may get up to 12-14″ diameter)
